About The RMB
The Yorkshire and Humberside Fire Authorities' Regional Management Board is comprised of members from the regions' four fire authorities and exists to deliver various important national goals that were defined in the 2004 White Paper 'Our Fire and Rescue Service'. The following functions are carried about by the RMB, through meetings and actions carried out on a regional level.
- Resilience plans for large scale emergencies
- Specialist and common services
- Regional control rooms
- Regional procurement
- Regional approach to training
- Regional personnel and human resources management
The RMB had its first meeting on the 1st of April 2004.
